Dr. Nikos Manouselis

Nikos Manouselis holds a Master in Electronics & Computer Engineering from the Dept. of Electronics & Computers Engineering (2003), both from the Technical University of Crete, Greece. He has a PhD on the application of metadata technologies to the domain of agriculture from the Informatics Laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece (2008). He has made research visits at FAO. He is considered to be an expert in the application of ICT and Semantic Web technologies in agriculture, and with this capacity is serving as an external consultant for several organizations. Nikos has extensive experience in the management and technical coordination of EU projects in the context of various programmes (such as FP6, FP7, eContentplus, CIP PSP, LLP). He is also currently serving as the President of the ARIADNE Foundation, an international not-for-profit association that has been working towards empowering share and reuse of learning resources since 1995. He is the AK CEO.
