Bram Vandeputte, MSc.

Bram Vandeputte is a researcher at the Computer Science department of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium in the research group Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). His research interests include interaction with emerging technologies, such as multiā€touch, mobile devices, and so on. His other interests include metadata and flexible access to repositories. Bram was involved with the Metadata for Architectural Contents (MACE) and Metadata Ecology for Learning and Teaching (MELT), Adopting Standards and Specifications for Educational Content (ASPECT) eContent+ projects and the currently running Sustaining Technology Enhanced Learning at a LARge scale(STELLAR). He is responsible for the development of the Ariadne harvester and the Ariadne validation service. His current work focuses on the representation and interaction of large amounts of (meta)data on large displays, for uses in sense making tasks, such as explorative search and discovery.
